Terms of Service

A summary of how projects are scoped, paid for, delivered, and supported. Your signed proposal or agreement governs your specific project.

Proposals and Scope

Every project begins with a written proposal listing the package, pages, features, revision rounds, estimated schedule, price, payment schedule, support options, and exclusions. Work outside the approved scope is not added without your permission and may require a separate quote.

Payments

Projects under $3,000 are typically 50% to start and 50% before launch. Projects at $3,000 or more are typically 40% to start, 30% after design approval, and 30% before launch. Small fixed-scope work may be quoted at 100% upfront, and a custom schedule can be stated in the written quote. Your accepted quote and agreement are the authority for your specific project.

Payment instructions are provided with your accepted quote or milestone request. A secure processor-hosted card or bank-payment link may be provided once that option is configured, and another approved payment method can be arranged in writing. Complete card or bank account details are never stored by Shark Web Designs Co.

Initial payments reserve production time and cover work already completed. Refund eligibility depends on the work completed at the time of cancellation, any approved third-party expenses already paid, and the terms of your signed agreement.

The full project balance must clear before the website is launched publicly, unless your signed agreement explicitly states a different schedule.

Monthly hosting and care billing is separate from the one-time project balance. It begins at launch or on another date stated in the agreement, is billed by recurring processor authorization or invoice once configured, and remains optional.

Client Responsibilities

Timely delivery of content, images, branding, account access, and feedback is required to keep a project on schedule. Estimated timelines begin once all requested content is received.

Revisions and Post-Launch Coverage

Each package includes a defined number of revision rounds and a post-launch correction window for fixing errors in delivered work. New features, new pages, or new content requests are quoted separately.

Third-Party Services

Domain registration, hosting and third-party service subscriptions, payment providers, email services, and other outside subscriptions are billed by those providers and are separate unless specifically included in writing. Their availability, pricing, and terms are outside the control of Shark Web Designs Co.

No Guarantee of Results

Search best practices are followed, but no provider can guarantee a specific search ranking, traffic level, sales volume, or number of leads. Uninterrupted uptime is not guaranteed.

Intellectual Property

You retain rights to content and images you provide. Rights to delivered design work transfer once all invoices are paid in full.
